Rain Rain

Well, it is another day of rain. Guess I will sleep. (what else is new?) She has been sad the last few days, something about an aunt judy.

For some reason when she put me outside I have to be in my cage. Ugh!!! I hate it. But it looks like that is the way it has to be for a while. I hope she gets over whatever the reason is for my imprisonment.

There are finally some birds at the bird feeder. Something to watch. The squirrel is still eating most of the bird seed, but now he has some competition.

More later, it is time for a nap.

Ho Hum

More of the same. Although I did get off leash the other day and she put me in the cage for a few days. Then she took me out and I was off leash in a flash!!! She was not happy and now I have to stay in the house. Just as well as it is cold out there.

It rained for 2 days and she says it is going to rain again tomorrow. Ugh!!!! Arizona looks really good right now.

We had company 2 times. It was a very nice break to see someone besides her all the time.

fleas continued

Yeh! she took me to the vet and bought medicine for fleas and some kind of spray. It is such a relief not itching. I feel much better.

It has been very boring around here. no traveling, etc. I do get to go outside sometimes and that is nice.

Fleas

Well, she gave me another flea treatment. I am really getting tired of this. I do feel better though, so maybe it is working.

I got off leash yesterday and she put me in my cage after that. I didn't think I would ever be on leash again, but this am she let me out on my leash. I really do NOT like the cage.

The weather here is very pleasant. No heater or conditioner needed yet.

Pensacola RV Park

Haven't written for a while. We were in Alabama for 2 days. She had the trailer washed after the rain. Naturally I did not get to go out AT ALL l!!!

Yesterday we traveled to a new park. It is very nice. I have been out a lot since we got here. She seems to be in a much better mood.

I think I will like it here. I've seen some dogs but they don't seem to be a danger, yet.

Georgia

Haven't seen my new friend. Seems he disappeared or moved to a new tree. Otherwise it is just more of the same. She was gone all day yesterday. I was really glad to see her when she got home.

Today it is raining and we are just laying around. Me, sleeping her, reading and on the computer.

I will be glad when this rain is over, then I can go outside again.

I sure hope I see my friend again.

New Friend

I have a new friend (?) A cardinal came visiting yesterday. He sits on the tree that is outside the window by the table. He just sits there and teases me. I think he knows I can't get him. :(

This park is nice, I get to go outside a lot. Last night a cat jumped across the hood of the truck. Can't wait to go out today to see if I can spot it. A new resident moved in 2 spaces down and she has a BIG dog. I'm a little worried about it, certainly hope it does not get off its leash while I'm outside.

Yikes! She gave me a BATH. I do feel better though, cleaner and a lot less fleas. They have been driving me crazy.
She also put some kind of powder on me. I hope this gets rid of them. All I do
is scratch and clean myself to try to get rid of them.

On the road again

Well, she got up this morning and started getting all ready to leave. I don't like these trips. She keeps saying that we will soon be at a place for a few months, I can't wait.

We are here!!! She let me out and it is not to bad. a lot to see and smell. I might like it here.

I am feeling better, but she keeps giving me some kind of pill, ugh! I'll be glad when they are gone. They will be gone, won't they?

Lexington, SC

It has been a while since I last posted as I have not been feeling very good. She took my to the vet at the last place we stopped and gave me some awful medicine to take. I was feeling better, but not anymore. I think I had a relapse.

She drove us to a new place and I like it here. I get to go outside more and it is nice. No dogs.

She was gone for a day and when she came back her face was all scratched and she was not in a very friendly mood. She would not let me go out, etc. She seems to be getting better now as she looks better and is happier.

I just do not feel good, I have diaria and have vomited several times. I can't meow as it hurts my throat. I think I am having a relapse. It sounds like she is going to take me to the vet today.

I'm back from the vet. they gave me a shot, ouch!! when we got home she put something down my throat. Evidently I have bronchitis. sure hope that shot worked.

It has done nothing but rain, can't go outside but don't really feel like it anyway.

She has let me outside some today as the sun is shining.

more later, if i feel like it.

Health

I have not been feeling very good.  Just laying around.  I sure wish she would stop picking me up and loving on me.  I growled and snapped at her.  I think she finally got the message. humans!

Yesterday, we drove for most of the day, then we got here and just as she set up it started to rain.

Today I feel better, but i think she is taking me to the vet.  Ugh!  I hate going to them.

Well, I am back.  I sure did not like going there.  To many bad memories.  I got a shot - ugh!

This is Billies owner.  He had tonsillitis and was given some antibiotic to take.  He does seem better today than he has for the last 2 days.  He is glad to be home again.

Williamsburg Va

We've been here for about a week now and it is very nice and quiet.  After that week with those other cats I needed the rest.  She has been gone most days "sight seeing" whatever that is.  Anyway,  I have had time to catch up on my naps and just chill.

I think it is about time to get on the road again though.  She is cleaning and doing laundry.  Oh well!  At least here, I get to go out a few times a day.

My time with the 4 cats in Md.

Well, we pulled into a place and she set up the trailer and then took  me to her friends home.  I thought  good this will be nice to be in a new place.  But there were 4, count them 4, cats there and I had to stay in the bedroom while she went out and had a good time.

The orange one would come and visit me at the window and one day we got the screen off and he came in and visited.  When she came home she put him out and closed the window.  Back to solitary confinement.

After a few days she let me out and there they were.  All 4 of them.  I stood them off for a while, then the big one, black & white cat, challenged me and  and they had to break us up.  I don't think 4 against 1 is fair.

We finally left and I am much happier now.

Night by the fire

Yesterday my owner stayed around here.  She cleaned and put things in storage.  I did get to go outside a lot, which I loved!!

Last night the neighbor came over and invited her to come sit by the fire.  So, she thought it would be a good idea to take me.  Well!!! that did not go over with me.  I do NOT like fire.  She tied me up to the slideout on that side of the trailer and  I stayed as far from the fire as my leash would let me.  When I was almost free she came and got me and put me back in the trailer.  Freedom - so close but so far.

Today it is cloudy and cooler.  Suspect we will stay around here today.

PA

Well, here I am while my owner takes a trip to Philadelphia.  Why, I don't know. Something about a Liberty Bell. Huh!!

Anyway, it is a good excuse to sleep all day.  This is my favorite activity.

She came home late and I sneaked out the door as she came in.  Did not make her very happy.  It was dark and a  lot of people have arrived.  To scary for me, so I came home.

My first Blog

This is my first blog posting.  I decided to tell about this "adventure" from my perspective.  It has been quite a trip.  It started with our living in this trailer at a friend of hers in Santa Fe.  She said it was so she could get used to it and make sure she knew how everything worked.  Sounded good.

Anyway, we were parked down by the horses and it was quiet and private.  I liked it there as I could get out once in a while and visit the horses.  I liked everything except THE DOG!! They have a Jack Russell terrier that is so hyper, it is beyond explanation.

We left and traveled for a while and it was OK.  Then we spent the winter in Tucson, Az. at her brothers.  It was not ok as I could not go outside!!  So, one day I slipped out and found out why I was not allowed out.  There were 2 BIG dogs there and the black one attacked me and if my owner had not come out when she did I would be dead now.  He broke my sternam, bruised by heart and lungs and broke a rib.  She rushed me to the Dr's and it was weeks before I was back to normal.   I was glad when we pulled out and headed west.  Needless to say dogs are not my friend.

We ended up in  a town near the water and then she left me with a friend.  That was good as it was a larger place for me and she was very nice.  When she came back we headed out again. To many places to remember and try to write about now.

We did spend the winter in Tucson again, but his time in a park.  I liked it there but there were odors of strange animals that I did not recognize so, I stayed right near the trailer and only when she was out with me.  I think she liked it too as she made a lot of friends and was busy.

This leg of the trip has been quite an adventure.  I am not very happy about being in the truck and having my routine changed all the time.  I think I am getting to old for this.

More later.

We are in a park that is very nice and I get to go outside a lot.  Even though I am still on a leash attached to the steps.  But at my age I think that is good.
