This is my first blog posting. I decided to tell about this "adventure" from my perspective. It has been quite a trip. It started with our living in this trailer at a friend of hers in Santa Fe. She said it was so she could get used to it and make sure she knew how everything worked. Sounded good.
Anyway, we were parked down by the horses and it was quiet and private. I liked it there as I could get out once in a while and visit the horses. I liked everything except THE DOG!! They have a Jack Russell terrier that is so hyper, it is beyond explanation.
We left and traveled for a while and it was OK. Then we spent the winter in Tucson, Az. at her brothers. It was not ok as I could not go outside!! So, one day I slipped out and found out why I was not allowed out. There were 2 BIG dogs there and the black one attacked me and if my owner had not come out when she did I would be dead now. He broke my sternam, bruised by heart and lungs and broke a rib. She rushed me to the Dr's and it was weeks before I was back to normal. I was glad when we pulled out and headed west. Needless to say dogs are not my friend.
We ended up in a town near the water and then she left me with a friend. That was good as it was a larger place for me and she was very nice. When she came back we headed out again. To many places to remember and try to write about now.
We did spend the winter in Tucson again, but his time in a park. I liked it there but there were odors of strange animals that I did not recognize so, I stayed right near the trailer and only when she was out with me. I think she liked it too as she made a lot of friends and was busy.
This leg of the trip has been quite an adventure. I am not very happy about being in the truck and having my routine changed all the time. I think I am getting to old for this.
More later.
We are in a park that is very nice and I get to go outside a lot. Even though I am still on a leash attached to the steps. But at my age I think that is good.
