Thanksgiving - whatever that is!

Well, we got up early and started a very long trip. I thought we would never get there. When we did we went to a house and it was just us. It was OK. The next day she left me there all ALONE.

She did come back to see me several times. But it was quiet and not my home. Then Abb came and I like him so that was good.

We were there for a long time then we got on the road again. We stopped at a house and she took me in in my cage. Well, there were 2 dogs! Ugh! I hate dogs. These 2 weren't as bad as I thought they would be. After a while we got along ok, not great, just ok.

Then we took off again and finally got home. Home, at last! I wish she would settle down for a while.

Birds & gravel

We traveled for a day and now we are in a place with lots of birds to watch. I get to go out and we go for walks again. Yeh!!!! There are not a lot of trees, just a lot of gravel. But I don't mind as long as I get to go outside.

She seems to be much happier, I know I am. This place is great. I don't know how much longer we will be here as she has not put out any of the little things she likes. I think we will be traveling again soon. Oh well, on the road again.

Trip to Alpine

Yesterday we left early in the morning and I was not feeling well. About 2 hours into it I threw up and felt much better. We were going along fine then, I don't know what happened but we stopped by the side of a road. She got all upset and made some phone calls. Then we just waited. Finally a very nice man came along and put something in the side of the truck. We got on the way and finally got to a nice place to stay. She let me out while she set up and then we both just crashed.

It was nice to get out of that truck. Today she is in a much better mood.

Back on the road

We are back on the road again. A few days ago we traveled all day. I'm not sure why we are here for a while, but it is not bad. I went outside yesterday and there is a yappy dog next door. As long as he does not come over here, I'll be fine.

Not much else going on but she seems happy and that is good for both of us. She has been what she calls knitting. At least she is home a lot more and I like that.

Home :)

Yeh! I'm home! We went on another trip in a strange car. It was to a house we had been to before and the dog was gone. I like this house there is a lot of room for me to explore. There were a lot of people there but I did get to go outside. I liked it there.

When we got back in the car I thought oh no! are we going back to where that dog is? But thankfully no. We are back home and I love it. It is quiet and peacful and without a dog. I still don't know why we were at that other house. It is just so nice to be home again.

BIG DOG!!!!

I just want to go home. This dog is trying to kill me. I have to stay in the bedroom alone and away from everyone. I like to be in the same room as my owner. I just don't know why we are here. Seems she is unhappy too, so what is the problem.

The dog is soooo big and just comes after me. After that last big dog and what he did to me, I'm really scared and am just going to stay under this bed.

Home sweet home where are you?

Catnip!

Yeh!!! she bought me a new scratching pad filled with catnip. I love it!!!! I love her!!!

I've been hi since she bought it. I hope the catnip lasts for a loooong time. She goes out some now, but not as much as she was. It might be nice to have her around, I don't know much as I'm on my new scratching pad. Ooooooo, more later, maybe......

Long Trip

Whew!!! We were on the road all day yesterday. I don't know what she was thinking. I don't like these long drives. The last place was ok. There was a bird that stayed around and I liked watching it.

Some people came over and that was nice. I got a lot of attention and petting. She did not take me on walks in the morning though. Don't know what her problem was, but no walks.

I hope this place is nice and I get to go outside more. It is really boring to always be inside.

Virginia

We stayed at this park for a while and I really liked it. We went for a walk each morning and that was very nice. Then she would let me stay out for a while longer. Even though I have to stay in my cage I like it outside.

She was home most of the time. Just gone a few days. I think she has visited with someone I know. The smell is familiar. (?)

Looks like we are going to be on the road again. She is cleaning and putting things away. Ugh!!

Maybe we will be at a place I can go outside. I sure hope we stay put for a while.

Ducks

We traveled yesterday and it was a long trip. She got us parked and set up and it was finally coool in the trailer and more comfortable. There are dozens of ducks here and I like watching them. There are baby ones too.

This am we went for a walk and I really liked it. I hope she keeps it up. Also a lake that is pretty and the early morning is the best time of day.

Dog!!!

Yesterday we were going for a walk as I had NOT been out all day. There was a small dog next door and he started to come for me. I tried to get away and she picked me up. Well, I showed her I scratched both arms when I tried to get away from her and the dog. Next time maybe she will pay attention when I don't want to go forward. I tried to warn her but did she listen? NO.

Today we were on the road again and we finally got someplace. I'm tired and am going to take a nap.

Storm

Well!! she went away yesterday and left me alone, again. A STORM passed over and it was scary. Loud thunder, wind and rain. I was very scared. When she got home, I gave her a piece of my mind. If this is the weather here, then I'm ready to leave.

Trip to La

Apparently we are on another of her adventures. This park is not to bad. Went for an early morning walk and it was very interesting. We went further than usual. Down to a river and back, it is pretty nice here. There is a pond that I can look at out the back window and hopefully there will be some birds. I hear them but have not seen any yet. It is hot and humid but ok.

Walking

Well, we have been walking every day now and I am getting the hang of this halter and leash. We are going further each day. She is walking for exercise and then she gets me for her cool down. What ever that is. Any way I'm not complaining, I get out of this trailer.

There is a lot to smell out there. So many new people and dogs come thru here. I think she is going away again. The suitcase is out and she is acting strange again. Oh well!!! I hope the nice lady comes to take care of me.

Making a new friend

We are back at the park we spent the winter. I like it here. We go for walks and I get to go outside. Yesterday I tried to make friends with a dog!!! Ugh!!! But I think I better do it so I can go out more often. The dog is ok. She did not bark and get all ansy like the other one that lives here. I get very nervous when they rush at me. There is a big dog that lives here and I think he would eat me if given the chance. I am very careful around that part of the park when we go for a walk.

Here We Go Again

Well, here we go. Another day sleeping in the truck. It is just to boring, for me at least. She seems to enjoy it. We got here and she set up and then left me alone. Can you imagine!!!

She came home and fell asleep. MMM just to much.

This morning she took me out for a walk to see the new place. It is pretty interesting, lots of new stuff to investigate. I wish I could go off on my own, but she won't let me. She will probably go away again today and leave me alone. At least I get to sleep in peace.

Just One More Day

It has been pretty boring around here. She is off somewhere most of the time. Nothing to do but sleep.

She has been taking me for walks lately and we are venturing further from home. That is a nice change. Looks like rain today. Ugh!! means I have to stay in.

Rain and trip

She left me for a long time ( a week). A very nice lady came and petted me and made sure I was ok, but she is not my owner.

When she came home I let her know how unhappy I was with her. I ignored her, for about 15 minutes. I could not help myself, I missed her so much.

It is raining AGAIN. Will spring never get here?

Sunshine

Finally it is warming up. I have been confined to the trailer with her. There just is nothing to do but sleep and eat.

For the last few days she has taken me out for a walk. Yesterday we went on a long walk. It was great!!!

Today a small pesky dog was being walked and wanted to be friends. Ugh! a dog - no way!

I hope she keeps up the walking.
